This is an external CPR & AED update course suitable for those working in the Health Care sector. Candidates are provided with updates on first aid and discuss medical emergencies including Stroke, Heart attack, Cardiac Arrest, Anaphylaxis, choking. They also perform a number of practical skills including CPR, recovery position, the use of adrenaline auto-injectors and defibrillators. The course can be molded to a clients individual needs. EFR Primary & Secondary Care Course

The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) CourseThe Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development; skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Course duration – 1 day Assessment Two multiple-choice question papers and two Knowledge Reviews. Certificate On successful completion of the course an Emergency First Response Primary/Secondary Care (plus additional completed skills) certification card valid for two years is issued. Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) External Course

The Emergency First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course also cover the safe use of a defibrillator (AED). Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be an Emergency First Aider at work for the next three years. Course length: 1 day Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.
