  • Primary Care for General Public

    This is an External course held for members of the public The Primary Care (2 hour) session covers the following;     looking after yourself and the casualty     communicating with the casualty and the emergency services (when required)     assessing the casualty     priorities of first aid and managing the scene     recognising life-threatening illnesses     treatment of an unconscious casualty (adult/child/infant)     treatment of a choking casualty  (adult/child/infant)     treatment of a non breathing casualty (adult/child/infant)
