The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) CourseThe Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development; skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Course duration – 1 day Assessment Two multiple-choice question papers and two Knowledge Reviews. Certificate On successful completion of the course an Emergency First Response Primary/Secondary Care (plus additional completed skills) certification card valid for two years is issued. First Aid at Work Requalification (2 days)

The First Aid at Work Re-qualification course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.   To qualify to attend a FAW re-qualification course candidates must still hold an in-date FAW certificate. Upon completion of the course successful candidates receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be First Aiders in the workplace for the next three years. Course length: 2 days Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level. Paediatric First Aid (2 days)

7th January 2015

The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course provides theoretical and practical training in First Aid techniques that are specific to infants aged 0 to 1, and children aged from 1 year old to the onset of puberty. Candidates will become familiar with the role of the paediatric first aider and be able to assess and react appropriately to an emergency situation. This is a 2 day course.
