Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day)

The Emergency First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be an Emergency First Aider at work for the next three years. Course length: 1 day Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level. Resuscitation Guidelines 2015

The Resuscitation 2015 guidelines contain detailed information about basic and advanced life support for adults, paediatrics and the newborn. Also included are guidelines for the use of Automated External Defibrillators and other related topics. The Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines have been adapted from the 2015 ERC Guidelines and are tailored specifically to clinical practice in the UK. From UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines There are three key changes: 1.    ‘Shouting for help’ is no longer a step to be taught on it s own. Health Care CPR & AED External Course

6th November 2015

This is an external CPR & AED update course suitable for those working in the Health Care sector. Candidates are provided with updates on first aid anddiscuss  medical emergencies including Stroke, Heart attack, Cardiac Arrest, Anaphylaxis, choking. They also perform a number of practical skills including CPR, recovery position, the use of adrenaline auto-injectors and defibrillators. The sessions are flexible and cater to a clients needs in time and content.
