Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
This CPR & AED update course is suitable for those working in the Health Care sector. Candidates are provided with updates on first aid and discuss medical emergencies including Stroke, Heart attack, Cardiac Arrest, Anaphylaxis, choking. They also perform a number of practical skills including CPR, recovery position, the use of adrenaline auto-injectors and defibrillators. The course can be molded to a clients individual needs. The Emergency First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course also cover the safe use of a defibrillator (AED). Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be an Emergency First Aider at work for the next three years. Course length: 1 day Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.

At LifeSaver Training we are always hyper-vigilant with regards to the cleanliness & hygiene of our training materials and premises, and in light of the coronavirus we have increased our cleaning regime, using anti-bacterial and anti-viral products. For those attending one of our various first aid courses we provide individual disposable face-shields for personal protection when performing mouth to mouth rescusitation on the CPR manikins. The manikins are cleaned with anti-bacterial wipes between individual student use. At the end of each course the CPR manikins are dismantalled and subjected to a stringent cleaning process, the used lungs are disposed of and news lungs fitted ready for the next course.
