First Aid at Work Blended Learning

The First Aid at Work bended learning course, comprises of distance learning and 2 days classroom based face to face training.
On booking the FAW blended learning course with LifeSaver Training we will issue you the distance learning element of the FAW course, you simply work your way through the course, along with the scenarios. Learners are assessed at the end of the distance learning course by multiple-choice questions.
Once this element of the course has been successfully completed you then attend two days face to face training at our premises. On successful completion of both the distance and classroom based training you will be awarded the First Aid at Work qualification.

- Managing an
unresponsive casualty
- Recognising and
assisting a choking casualty
- Managing a
casualty – external bleeding and shock
- Managing a
casualty – minor injury
- Conducting a
secondary survey
- Administering
first aid to a casualty with injuries to their bones
- Administering
first aid to a casualty with head and spinal injuries
- Administering
first aid to a casualty with suspected chest injuries
- Administering
first aid to a casualty with burns or eye injuries
- Administering
first aid to a casualty with sudden poisoning or anaphylaxis
- Administering first aid to a casualty with a
major illness

The course is ideal for any employee or manager who wishes to become a first-aider in the workplace.

Certification
Upon successful completion of all elements of the qualification learners will receive a First Aid at Work certificate valid for 3 years.
