Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid (RQF) This regulated and nationally recognised qualification provides Learners with the opportunity to develop the basic skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of emergency paediatric first aid situations which could arise when looking after children. During this 1 day course, Learners will develop the skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of paediatric first aid situations, including: managing an unresponsive infant or child, CPR, defibrillation, choking, seizures, external bleeding, shock and more.

The Emergency First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course also cover the safe use of a defibrillator (AED). Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be an Emergency First Aider at work for the next three years. Course length: 1 day Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.
