    The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) CourseThe Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development; skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence in their ability to provide care when emergency situations arise. Course duration – 1 day Assessment Two multiple-choice question papers and two Knowledge Reviews.   • Emergency FAW (1 Day)

    The Emergency First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be an Emergency First Aider at work for the next three years. Course length: 1 day Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.   • First Aid at Work Initial (3 days)

    The First Aid at Work (statutory) course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.   Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be First Aiders in the Workplace for the next three years. Course length: 3 days Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.   • First Aid at Work Requalification (2 days)

    The First Aid at Work Re-qualification course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.   To qualify to attend a FAW re-qualification course candidates must still hold an in-date FAW certificate. Upon completion of the course successful candidates receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be First Aiders in the workplace for the next three years. Course length: 2 days Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.     Sorry but  this session has been cancelled the next session will be on 21st March 2015 This is a FREE information session suitable for those wishing to learn more about becoming a Dementia Friend. Attendees are provided with information to help them understand a bit more about Dementia, what it's like to live with Dementia and the little ways you can help. The session is being held 10-11.00 on the first floor, please note we do not have disabled access at this venue. There will be Tea/Coffee and biscuit available.
