Paediatric First Aid Blended Learning

The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid bended learning course comprises of e-learning and 1 day classroom based face to face training. On booking the Paediatric First Aid blended learning course with LifeSaver Training we will issue you with log on details for the e-learning element of the course, you simply work your way through the course, along with the scenarios. Learners are assessed at the end of the on-line course by multiple-choice questions. Once the e-learning part of the course has been successfully completed you then attend the one day face to face training at our premises. Emergency First Aid at Work (1 day) Course

The Emergency First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course also cover the safe use of a defibrillator (AED). Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be an Emergency First Aider at work for the next three years. Course length: 1 day Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.

Manual Handling (4hr) course

The Manual Handling Course will help employers comply with the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992. It is aimed at employees who are involved in regular lifting. The course enables students to plan lifts and carry out correct lifting practice, by following basic manual handling techniques.  The adherence to these principles will reduce injury, absence from work, and may reduce the risk of litigation. Manual Handling is lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing and pulling loads. The course also provides information on the human spinal system, risk assessment, the legal responsibility of employers and employees along with techniques for the prevention of accidents.
