This two-day Level 3 Paediatric first aid course is ideal for those organisations and individuals that attend to children and infants and are required to take charge in the event of illness or accidents. This course meets the criteria for childcare providers in the UK. Course length: 2 days Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level. Anaphylaxis Training (1/2 Day)

The Anaphylaxis training for schools, early years and community settings is a ½ day course. This course is designed to enable candidates to improve and update their knowledge in managing severe allergies, including early recognition of symptoms, allergen avoidance and crisis management. As well as gaining enhanced skills in the use of adrenaline injectors. This course can be run back to back with the CPR & AED ½ day course. Basic First Aid (4 hours)

The Basic First Aid course is 4 hours.   The course covers theoretical and practical elements where candidates will learn how to perform CPR, assist a choking person, treat a bleeding wound, assist an unconscious breathing person and deal with shock and minor injuries. A certificate of attendance will be issued to candidates who successfully complete the course. Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level. This is a FREE information session suitable for those wishing to learn more about becoming a Dementia Friend. Attendees are provided with information to help them understand a bit more about Dementia, what it's like to live with Dementia and the little ways you can help. The session is being held 10-11.00 on the first floor, please note we do not have disabled access at this venue. There will be Tea/Coffee and biscuit available.
