EFAW and FAW Refresher (1/2 day)

Although an annual refresher is not a legal requirement, the HSE strongly recommends that First Aiders undertake annual refresher training within any three-year certification period of First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work.

The First aid refresher course is suitable for those who hold a current FAW and EFAW qualification.

Course content;

• assess the situation in an emergency;
• treating a casualty who is unconscious (including seizure);
• cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
• providing first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding;
• treating a casualty who is suffering from shock
