EFR Care for Children

The EFR Care for Children first aid course teaches the lay person (parent, grandparent, or guardian) the same priorities of care used by medical professionals when treating an injured or ill baby/child and includes:-

  • Priorities and procedures for dealing with infants and children
  • Primary & Secondary Care skills for infants and children
  • How to prevent common injuries and Illnesses

NOTE: The content of this course is based on guidelines from the Paediatric Working Group of International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).

Course Duration
1 day usually 9.30am – 4.30pm  - We also run evening and weekend courses

Certificate
An Emergency First Response care for children certification card valid for two years is issued on successful completion of the course.
