The EFR Mental Health Awareness Course provides participants with a broad understanding of mental health. Participants will learn about the factors that affect mental health, and will be introduced to the more prevalent mental disorders and accompanying signs and symptoms, the influence of stigma and discrimination, guidance on supporting people in distress and advice on honing personal resilience. The course includes knowledge development followed by practical exercises and scenarios to develop participants’ understanding and confidence in providing support to people experiencing mental disorders. The Emergency First Aid at Work course complies with the current Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. The course also cover the safe use of a defibrillator (AED). Successful students receive certificates to show that they are qualified to be an Emergency First Aider at work for the next three years. Course length: 1 day Candidates should wear suitable attire that will allow ease of movement as a lot of the practical sessions are performed from floor level.

The Level 3 First Aid at Work bended learning course comprises of e-learning and 2 days classroom based face to face training. On booking the FAW blended learning course with LifeSaver Training we will issue you with log on details for the e-learning element of the FAW course, you simply work your way through the course, along with the scenarios. Learners are assessed at the end of the on-line course by multiple-choice questions. Once the e-learning part of the course has been successfully completed you then attend two days face to face training at our premises.
